Citrus Grove Teapot

This handsome black teapot exudes David Gurney's "trademark" Mexican folk art style. Born out of his Southern California experiences, this functional pottery features citrus grove scenes on both side of the pot, along with bright white citrus blossom designs. A small gold leaf dot pattern detail can also be seen on the top and bottom sections of the teapot. The lid lifts off with a round citrus tree "topiary" style handle. It is hand made, and vibrantly hand painted and decorated.
