Arizona ceramic artist Michael Nowack has been making pottery since 1970. He studied for a BFA at the University of Wisconsin and specialized in Ancient Chinese glaze formulas.
Nowack has been involved in the design and development of two shops and studios in New York and New England, and has participated in numerous exhibitions.
The artistís use of delicate handles combined with his belief in strong functional pottery is the basis of his work. Each piece is thrown on a wheel individually, so no two pieces are ever the same. The work is lead free, microwave safe and dishwasher proof.
