Enamel artist Rachel Gehlhar is a Michigan native who grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. She attended the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, where she earned a BFA in Metals and Jewelry with a Minor in Drawing. The artist graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004, then made the move to Los Angeles.
Gehlhar currently works and exhibits at Freehand and was featured in Freehand's 25th Anniversary show as well as several of Freehand's Spring Jewelry Shows. She has also exhibited her work at Facere Gallery in Washington, D.C.
