Kazuko is well known for her unique hand built slab pottery shapes and whimsical hand painted decoration on her magnificent pottery. This matte finished charcoal and grey footed vase is hand painted on the front and back with a "v" shaped pattern, or perhaps a 'birds in flight" pattern, and the sides feature a contrasting pattern of straight lines. The interior is natural clay with a glossy glaze. This vase can be functional, not just decorative. This vase could easily hold flowers. It could also be used as a catch all container, or even a holder of paint brushes or wooden spoons.
