Ali is inspired by nature’s beauty. The organic forms created in his works are a natural expression of the inspirations he sees in everday life.

His journey as an artist has developed over time, starting with painting in high school, followed by sculpting, which lead to wheel throwing and his current love of hand-buliding.

As an LA resident, Ali’s eye for color and attention to detail goes into every piece he creates. In the creation of his functional art pieces, he hopes that everyone can come to appreciate the art in handmade ceramics. He continues to believe that the work of ceramic artists will not only enrich the lives of those who use them, but also help them appreciate the art in our everyday lives.

Ali’s work has been featured in Ceramics Monthly Magazine, iCAN (International Ceramic Artist Network) 2019 calendar, and in national ceramic art exhibtions.
