John Glick founded Plum Tree Pottery in 1964 and has been working as a studio artist ever since. He received his B.F.A. from Wayne State University and his M.F.A. from Cranbrook Academy of Art.

He has been awarded twice the Louis Comfort Tiffany Grant as well as the National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship Grant. His work is in the collection of the Museum of Arts and Design, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institution and others.

Drawing on the legacy of his 1870 historic farm site, John Glick continues the tradition of creativity and craftsmanship. Eager, stretching the limits, always open to change and inspiration.
