Raïssa Bump received a BFA in metals from Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 and studied jewelry with Giampaolo Babetto at Alchimia in Florence, Italy. She has actively been involved in the contemporary jewelry field since graduation and is skilled at making both intricate one-of-a-kind pieces and beautiful edition collections. Raïssa exhibits nationally, teaches workshops at Penland, Haystack & Arrowmont and is co-chair of the board of Art Jewelry Forum. In 2015 she founded Reset. The mission of Reset is to educate others to be attentive to their bodies’ signals and provide them with practical Self-Tuning techniques so that they can continue creating. She grew up in the Hudson Valley region of NY and currently lives and works in San Francisco, CA.
